When we want to have a cabinet air conditioner, the most important thing at the beginning is to confirm the cooling capacity of the air conditioner we need. In this article, we will tell you how to select the cooling capacity in details.
The factors determine the cooling capacity are as following:
1, length, width and height of the cabinet
2, the heat released by the devices inside the cabinet
3, does the cabinet have thermal insulation layer
4, environment temperature
5, the temperature you want to keep inside the cabinet
After we have above information, we can use this formula to calculate the cooling capacity: Cooling capacity=cabinet superficial area x temperature difference x comprehensive heat transfer coefficient(usually 3W/K) + heat released
When we have the calculated cooling capacity, we can compare it with the cooling capacity curve of the air conditioner of this cooling capacity. After this, the cooling capacity is confirmed.
